This spring, Delta Arts Center proudly hosted Unseen Narrative, the 2024 Senior Exhibition from Winston-Salem State University’s Fine Arts Department. On view in the Simona Atkins Allen Gallery, the exhibition showcased the powerful and diverse works of WSSU’s graduating art students—each piece a window into a deeply personal story.
From bold self-portraits and cultural commentary to experimental techniques and vibrant installations, Unseen Narrative lived up to its name. The show offered an intimate glimpse into the individual journeys of each student artist—revealing the complexities of identity, history, and self-expression through their unique visual languages.
The opening was filled with energy and pride as family, friends, faculty, and art lovers came together to support the next generation of creatives. Each artist brought something different to the gallery, but collectively, their works spoke to resilience, growth, and the transformative power of art.
Delta Arts Center is proud to celebrate and amplify these emerging voices, and we are grateful to be a part of their artistic journey. Unseen Narrative isn’t just a showcase—it’s a statement of presence and purpose.
