Delta Arts Center, in collaboration with Piedmont Opera, proudly hosted a powerful musical tribute celebrating the life and legacy of Margaret Bonds—a groundbreaking composer, pianist, and cultural icon.
Best known for her close artistic partnership with poet Langston Hughes, Bonds holds a historic place in American music as the first African American soloist to perform with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra.
